Bolivian president ratified the Law of Mother Earth on Oct. 16th 2012.
The law, amongst other things, bans the use, cultivation, sale or creation of Genetically Modified OrganismsInstitutes the right of use of land by protecting the Earth from mining and other activities
Bans owning large swaths of land by corporations or individuals who are not using it and institutes the redistribution of such idle lands with a priority towards women and indigenous people.

La loi…
interdit entre autres la création, la vente, l’utilisation et la culture d’Organismes Génétiquement Modifiés.
protège la Terre des exploitations minières ou de toute autre activité néfaste en instituant le droit à la bonne utilisation des terres
interdit des individus ou des corporations de posséder de grandes bandes de terres non utilisées
institue la redistribution de ces terres en priorité aux femmes et au autochtones
attribue à la Terre Mère tous les droits humains.
